Hello! My name is Michelle. I’m a self-confessed foodie with a passion for interesting flavours and working with local growers who believe in their products. I moved to New Zealand in 2014 after twenty years in France, where I learnt about different salts and nurtured my recipes.
It all started when I cooked for people there, they asked about the flavour – especially the Smoked Garlic. They asked if I would make the blend for them and then gave it to others as gifts. My first public venture was Christmas Festival Markets in villages around where I lived. By word of mouth it went from there. I brought Saveur de Sel to Christchurch to share my love of good quality food.
